Making more room...
Just another simple project to clear off the workbench of items that always seem to live there. And yes, it's more clamps (you can never have enough by the way). But this time they are different clamps for different purposes. I just need the space and they are the next in line to get evicted from the work bench to the french cleat wall system. Just a little teaser, we need all the bench space we can get for an upcoming secret project build. We're going to have stuff everywhere until it's completely built, but enough on that for now, stay tuned for more details.

I started with a scrap piece of plywood and a 2X3. I worked out a shape I liked, OK it's a rectangle, but who don't like rectangles? Anyways, I grabbed the clamps and made some quick measurements that I needed and started making saw dust, well, I guess I did anyways. With the new dust collector, the saw dust got sucked up before I seen it, I love it. I glued and brad nailed everything together so it would be very solid. I like solid stuff, don't you? Anyways, I put on the french cleat holder on top and a spacer block on the bottom to keep everything level and good to go.

In the end I think its a clamp rack that turned out better than I initially thought it would. Did some small touch up sanding and hung that sucker on the wall. Put on the clamps and a smile. I love it when a plan comes together.
